Shiloh is a 2 year old, 45 lb. spayed female in Greenville, SC
Shiloh is a loving and loyal spayed red heeler, approximately 1-1/2 to 2 years old. We rescued her in October of 2024 and she has been the best snuggle and hiking partner, gentle with our family members and my shadow.
She shows separation anxiety by barking and pacing when she can’t not be near me and really would prefer a family where she can be in the center of the action. She is high energy but happy to lay on the couch as long as you are nearby. Her house manners are excellent and she has never had an accident. She loves belly rubs, car rides, treats, hikes, her people and your absolute attention! Up to date on all her shots an good health, requires a fenced yard and prefer no small animals or small kids in the home.
Shiloh has recently starting showing strong herding behavior towards my young daughter and we have not successfully been able to stop her from nipping at my daughters ankles and legs. She is wonderful and sweet with everyone else but I can no longer put my daughter at risk. We can no longer trust her around my small children which is why we must rehome.
She also chases cats and does not seem to like smaller dogs but behaves appropriately with larger dogs.
It breaks our hearts as we love her and believe her to be the best pup when she has one on one. She’s never shown any aggression towards others and flops down for a belly rub upon meeting new friends. I will help transport and would like to visit her new potential home to make sure it’s a good match.
