Sazzy is a sweet girl who loves nothing more than being your lap dog. She was a faithful companion to elderly Blair until he had to move to an assisted living facility because of poor memory and health. We have been working to find Sazzy a home for two months, but have not had any luck as our local rescues are over capacity.

Unfortunately, she instigated a fight with the other dog in her foster home due to jealousy for their caretaker. Sazzy bit the other dog on the legs in two places, and when their caretaker tried to break up the fight, Sazzy inadvertently also bit her on the leg. The other dog is being treated for his injuries by the vet and the human caretaker did not need to seek medical attention but the bite did break the skin.

Sazzy would be the perfect companion for someone who can dedicate all their love and attention to her as the 'only child' in the household. She has worked with a professional trainer several times and has improved in her barking and jumping when greeting, but can continue to grow in this area. She is housebroken and crate trained.
