Ranger is an 8 year old, 42 lb. neutered male in Sugar Hill, GA
Ranger is a gentle loving dog towards people, including kids. He is aggressive towards other animals, barking and growling. To avoid getting him overly excited I do not walk him the neighborhood. He gets all of his exercise in my spacious backyard. I was not able to pay for obedience training but he understands most commands.
I had an older Beagle/Jack russell terrier mix and they got along like brothers. He is very smart and watches the property keenly. It is a fenced backyard However, even with the gate open or a door open he will not venture out. He is housebroken and neutered. He is a healthy animal with no ailments other than a mild grass allergy.
I have to make this decision because I am moving out of the country. I will not be able to transport him as I am selling my car. An animal shelter is my last and least favorite option. Ranger will make a great companion as he has for me for 3 years. I have all if his vet records.
