Moose has playful personality. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Moose is incredibly wonderful and patient with kids. Being 6 now, he does lay around often but once activity starts up, he’s ready to roll and doesn’t stop til you do.

My children and babies can pull on him and sit on him with no reaction. He loves to train and run. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He was professionally trained at 1 year old by a Heeler Trainer in Virginia for 3 weeks. He obeys the command of “crate”, “bed”, “place”, “look at me”, “stay”, “wait”, “okay”.

He eats dry food morning and night. He has never displayed food aggression and has been around many other dogs as I have been a pet sitter for several years. He’s been around chickens that roam. He will chase cats and squirrels and birds. He never runs away. He’s never had any injuries.

He likes to sleep under the bed in my room. He will jump on the counter to eat food if it’s left out and you turn your back for a split second. He gets into the household trash if it’s not locked.

Moose has shown protective behavior towards me when another dog comes on our property. He has bit one dog and returned once I called his name. The other dog had a small mark on its leg that was wrapped. He’s never bit a human. He has strong herding/nipping behavior.

Moose has a long life ahead of him and I hope to find a family that has a farm or land where he can roam. He LOVES to train and be given a job to do. He’s very intelligent and needs to be stimulated in that way. No rehoming fee is requested.
