It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking to rehome my dog.

 

Mac is a 4-year-old Texas Heeler who has a lot of energy and so much love to give. He’s very affectionate and bonds closely with his person, but he hasn’t been socialized as much as he should have been, so he’ll do best with someone patient and experienced who can continue working with him.

He is house-trained and up to date on all his vaccinations.

​

I’m hoping to find him a home where he’ll get plenty of exercise, attention, and guidance — ideally with someone who understands high-energy working breeds and can help him thrive.

Mac is aggressive when around bonded person or personal belongings. He does not show aggression when playing at the park or going on walks. He has never bitten.

​

This is not an easy decision, and I just want to make sure he goes to the right home. I’ll be asking a few questions to make sure it’s a good fit.

I am willing to cover any expenses associated with transportation for the right adopter.
