Izzy is a sweet dog. She loves my wife and sister, so she seems to be very attracted to females. She gets along with our other 2 dogs.

 

After we had gotten her (from the shelter 3 years ago when she was 1-2 years old), she was fine with everyone, including strangers. Then about a year or year and a half ago, she nipped at the ankle of one of our guests (as she was "herding" them). We don't have a lot of guests, but it was a new behavior. She did the same thing with several other guests, always going for their ankles.

 

Our grandson was just born two days ago, so we are afraid to have her in the house with him. We just can't take that chance.
