Dinan is such a loving dog that thrives on cuddles and companionship. She loves the company of people and can adapt to other animals in the home.

 

She is best contained in a fenced in yard since she tends to wander and may run away to explore. She has been accustomed to living with children and can be very protective over them. She can tolerate frequent visitors especially ones who she becomes familiar with. However, with new visitors, she will initially bark at them.

 

She has high energy by nature especially during playtime. However, recent years she's been more relaxed and calm since she's getting older. Current training includes basic commands such as sit and lay down. House and crate training.

 

Dinan was a companion for my father-in-law since his wife's passing in 2020. However, he can no longer care for her with his old age and on-going health issues. My husband and I are also unable to care for her since we cannot provide the adequate housing, time and attention she deserves.

 

We hope Dinan's new home can provide her so much love, care and endless cuddles. My husband and I do not expect an adoption fee and/or donation to a rescue group, but we HIGHLY encourage a donation to the rescue group. We are more the happy to assist with transportation to Dinan's new home especially to a loving home that could provide her the best life.
