Dave is a 10 year old, 48 lb. neutered male in San Antonio, TX 

Dave is the best! He loves to cuddle, play, wrestle, go on walks, and play tug of war. He's a big fan of food, too! He's great with kids and visitors. He's SUPER social. He has healthy energy levels, is house-trained, crate-trained, and can sit on command. He's a GREAT walker (no leash fighting or pulling). He does pretty well with other dogs. Typically does not do well with male dogs of the same size (alpha dog thing). There are no health concerns I'm aware of.

I'm having to re-home him because we are in a desperate season. My wife lost her job, we just welcomed our second baby girl into the world a few days ago, and we are not able to keep our home. We have been offered free housing with my father-in-law, but we are not allowed to bring Dave (my father-in-law doesn't allow pets in his home). This has really hurt, and it really does hurt. I don't want to have to re-home him, but I need to do what's best for my family.

We are looking for a family that will be able to give him the attention he deserves and needs. not a family running around between 100 different things all the time. We are looking for homes that are clearly responsible and healthy.

I am open to assisting with the rehoming transport, but specifics will have to be based on what the rehoming process actually winds up looking like.
