Reishi is a super smart, loyal cattledog with a little Husky and German Shepherd mixed in for fun. He would do best in a home with no children or other dogs, lots of land to run, and people who understand heeler behavior. He is fearful around strangers and needs slow introductions; however, once he gets to know you, he will be your best friend. He loves to be by your side and get all the attention. He loves being trained and put to work.

He has nipping behavior when strangers are in his territory. He has broken skin one time when nipping. The person was around the house and he reacted by nipping the back of their lower calf. He has not had any bites on record in public or at the vet. He just gets protective of his home area and tends to nip strangers or other animals.

Vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, house trained, muzzle trained.

 

High energy and intelligent.

 

Favorite things: car rides, chase, jolly ball, and tug
