Bailey is a 4 year old, 55 lb. spayed female in Manchester, NH

Meet Bailey: A Sweet Soul Looking for Her Forever Companion

Bailey is a gentle, loving girl who has spent the last two years being a loyal, quiet companion. After being rescued from a situation where she spent most of her early years in a crate, she has spent her time soaking up the love she deserves.

Due to health challenges within her current home and the demands of caregiving, Bailey is looking for a soft place to land for the rest of her life.

Personality & Temperament B

ailey is the definition of a "sweetheart." She thrives on companionship and has spent her time being a devoted friend to her owners. She is used to a quiet, predictable environment and enjoys knowing her humans are nearby.

• Energy Level: Low to Moderate. She enjoys a calm, relaxed lifestyle.

• Ideal Home: A retired individual, a couple, or someone who works from home would be her dream come true. She loves constant companionship.

• Other Pets: Bailey would prefer to be the only dog. She wants to be the center of your world!

• Children: A quiet, adults-only household or a home with older children is best.

• Visitors: She is a sweet girl who tolerates visitors well but prefers a peaceful home.  Training & Health Bailey is a well-behaved girl who understands the rules of the house.

• Housebreaking: Fully house-trained! She is versatile and will use puppy pads or go outside.

• Crate Training: She is crate trained, though she is perfectly fine being left out as well.

• Medical Note: Bailey has been spayed, a gift from her current owner to ensure her health and comfort. She is also current on her Rabies vaccination (administered via Tractor Supply).

• Wellness: As she has been living a quiet life at home, she is due for a standard wellness check-up and updated boosters with her new family’s veterinarian.

A Note from Her Current Family "I originally saved Bailey to keep her out of a shelter, and she ended up becoming a huge part of our lives, especially for my late mother. However, I am currently the primary caregiver for my 80-year-old husband who has Alzheimer’s, and my own health issues have made it overwhelming to give Bailey the long-term activity she deserves. I even made sure to have her spayed out of love to ensure she was taken care of. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but I am committed to finding her the perfect, stable home."

Adoption Details

• Adoption Fee: $100 (This ensures Bailey goes to a committed home prepared for her future care).

• Evaluation: I am looking for a home that mirrors the quiet, loving environment she is used to. I would like to chat via phone and potentially do a brief home visit to ensure it’s a good match.

• Transport: I am happy to discuss assisting with transport for the right local adopter. If you have room in your heart and your home for this precious girl, please reach out. Bailey is ready to be your loyal best friend!
