Nemo is an 11 month old, 38 lb. neutered male in East Hartford, CT.
Nemo is a very playful, high energy dog that needs a lot of personal attention. I am looking to rehome him due to some unfortunate health circumstances that have made me incapable of providing for his needs properly.
He is a very playful dog, he’s very smart and a fast learner. He loves hiking and is obsessed with water, swimming and tug of war. He is great with dogs, and older children, I cannot say about younger children because he has not met many young kids and I haven’t observed his behavior around them. He is also good with cats and small animals but will occasionally chase the cat in an attempt to play; otherwise he is very gentle with them.
He has had some issues with leash pulling, jumping, and leash reactivity towards strangers and other dogs. I will be looking for a home for him preferably with someone who can be with him for a large portion of the day and has time and patience to continue training and exercising him. He loves cuddles and would do well with a one or two person household or a family with older children. I will preferably be looking for someone with a large property or fenced yard that experienced with cattle dogs or working breeds.
Nemo is up to date on all shots and vaccines.
I have already spoken to the breeder who is assisting me in rehoming him. There will be a rehoming fee.
