Lucy is a very sweet dog who loves other dogs, gets along with cats and kids. Likes to chase squirrels and be outside.

Lucy was rescued from South Carolina and had done well in her foster home with another dog. She was adopted in May 2024 and is the only dog.

She has separation anxiety, doesn't like being left alone. Fear of the noises made by the radiator heating system. Her current owner has tried medication and behavior modification. She hasn't responded well. Her owner feels she would do best in a home with another dog and an owner who can give her more time outside. Her owner did reach out to the rescue she got her from and they feel with her anxiety issues, they will not be able to rehome her and would probably euthanize her.
