Gibson is a 7 year old, 72 lb. neutered male in Brownsville, TX.

He is a very chill guy in the house and prefers to sleep all day. He does like walks, but he prefers to walk at snails pace. He is overweight at 72 pounds and is working on losing those extra rolls. This might increase his pace over time as he loses more pounds.

Gibson will be your shadow and follow you everywhere. He is not a lap dog, but does want to be close by. He is house trained and knows basic commands. Because of the invisible bungee, he never goes far off leash.

Gibson is dog aggressive. He has had this issue since he was a puppy. He has gotten into dog fights, but has not broken skin and from my experience is the first to submit. We have been working on his dog aggressive issues, and he has made tremendous progress. He needs more work with this, but he is learning how to not react when he sees another dog.

He does not latch on and does more of a heeler nipping when he has gotten into fights. He has not gotten into any in several years. He has undergone training and has gotten better. He will still lunge at the first dog he sees, but after a correction he does not do it again. He was in a house with two other dogs for most of his life, and did not fight with them. Needs a slow and proper introduction in order to be comfortable with the pack.

He does not get too much off leash time because of his dog aggressive issues. He would do well being an only dog. He still cannot be near unfamiliar dogs and is not the dog park type. Right now he has a fenced yard with a dog door that he can come and go as he pleases. He loves to play kickball. He does not like dog beds or other toys. Has zero interest in them, so that should save some money. He is not a chewer and only drools when he sees a yummy treat. He does have anxiety issues and does not enjoy car rides. He will pace anytime he thinks that you are stopping. He loves to be with his people and would love someone who can devote more time to him. Unfortunately, my career is taking me to places where I cannot care for him. Where I am located, I do not have a support system where they can watch over him while I am away.

Gibson is in Brownsville, TX.
