Ezriel is a 1 year old, 51 lb. neutered male in Spotsylvania, VA.

Hello! I'm looking for a running partner! My name is Ezriel, which means 'Gift from God', but you can call me Ezzie if you like. I don't remember my birthday, but I'm about a year old and I weigh a healthy 51 pounds. I currently live in Spotsylvania, Virginia with my human mom, dad, seven-year-old brother, and two cats. I'm super friendly and get really excited when I meet new people and other animals.

Did I mention that I LOVE running? Do you have a fenced yard where I could run and chase tennis balls and sticks? I also love chasing our two cats around the house, but they have a special room and some high places that I can't get to. When my human brother gets rowdy and starts running around the house, I'll chase him too, and sometimes nip his ankles. He doesn't seem to understand that I'm in charge of keeping order around here.

My human dad says I'm really smart, and that I need a job. I can solve my treat puzzle in a matter of minutes. I'm also a fast learner and can do new tricks with only a few minutes of training.

Ezriel is very oral. He typically nudges first, then resorts to mouthing and nipping if he doesn't get the response he wants. He has never left bruises or broken skin, but this behavior bothers our two cats and our seven-year-old son.

You should know that I have a personal vendetta against tags, and can proudly say that I have chewed off every tag from all my stuffed animals and blankets. In fact, I just love chewing. I once had a bag of bones that said they would last about four hours, but I finished each bone in under five minutes. These marrow bones I have now are quite a bit tougher, but I'm slowly wearing them down. Sadly, a couple of my stuffed animals got taken away, because I was chewing their stuffing like bubble gum.

On a positive note, I am fully potty trained. I usually poop right after meals; it just seems convenient. If I need to go pee, I will let someone know by nudging them and putting my head in their lap; but my human dad is pretty good about taking me out every few hours. I am also crate trained. Actually, I sleep in a crate at night now, because I chewed on a few pairs of my human mom's shoes during the night. Sometimes my human parents both have to go somewhere that I can't, so I stay in my crate for up to 8-10 hours. I don't really like being alone, though, and I'll be sure to let everyone in the neighborhood know how I feel about it.

Ezriel is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, negative for heartworms, and microchipped.
