It breaks our hearts to make this decision, but we’re looking for a very special home for our sweet girl, Dixie.

Dixie is a 5-year-old, spayed female weighing just 30 lbs, making her the perfect petite-sized companion. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine and has routine yearly lab work to keep her healthy.

 About Dixie:

• Super friendly and affectionate with people

• Crate trained

• Walks beautifully on a leash

• Excellent off-leash with reliable recall

• Smart and eager to please—knows many commands

• Petite at only 30 lbs

• Sensitive stomach (does best on a consistent diet)

 

The Home She Needs: Dixie does not do well with other dogs, so she is looking for a home where she can be the only dog.

Dixie has recently been dog aggressive with most any dogs she is around. She has never broken skin but was latched on tightly. They are very random and unprovoked moments and therefore has become unpredictable around other dogs.

 

She deserves a home with someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she needs without the stress of other dogs.

This decision has not been made lightly, and finding the right home is our top priority. She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal companion for the right person.
