Echo is an 8 year old, 48 lb. neutered male in Denver, CO
Echo is an 8-year-old purebred Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler), about 46–48 lbs, neutered, healthy, and completely up to date on vaccinations and vet care. I’ve had him since he was two months old, and this decision comes only after a lot of thought. My lifestyle is changing, I’ll be moving into an apartment and traveling more, and I know I can’t give him the daily space, structure, and outdoor time that make him happiest.
Echo grew up on a Texas farm and has spent most of his life exploring Colorado’s mountains, snow, and trails. He’s house and crate trained, great on leash, and has excellent recall off leash. He knows sit, stay, come, roll over, spin, and more. He’s food and toy motivated, eager to please, and very responsive to training.
Echo has never bitten anyone or any dog, ever. He’s not aggressive, though he’ll sometimes bark when someone new comes to the door or when another dog barks first. Once he knows everyone’s safe, he settles quickly. He’s been around kids, cats, and other dogs, and does great with all of them.
He’s active, smart, affectionate, and loyal to the core. He loves hiking, camping, biking, chasing a ball, and curling up beside you afterward. Echo would thrive in a home with room to run, ideally a fenced yard, farm, or an active family or individual who spends time outdoors.
This is a very hard decision, but it’s about giving him the life he deserves. I’m looking for a loving home where he’ll have purpose, attention, and plenty of adventure.
