Chuk is a 3 year old, 45 lb. neutered male mix in Raleigh, NC.
Chuk came from the SPCA. He is estimated to be about 3 years old. He is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines (all documents available).
He is a cuddler and definitely loves attention. He is housetrained and we have successfully worked on multiple commands such as, SIT, STAY, and LAY. He is very friendly with our one year old. He is a cattle herding breed and he definitely wants a job. He is adamant about patrolling our backyard and chasing off “intruders” (mostly squirrels and joggers). We have a small yard and I believe he needs a bigger area to run/roam.
He does not currently have good leash manners and needs someone who has the time and focus to work with him on those skills. We do not currently have the time to work on these skills and we do not have a large area for him to get all of his energy out.
He has moderate energy inside the home, but I believe some energy is being pent up due to reasons above. He is very loyal and wants to be your best friend!
We would love to find a home that we believe would be a better match for Chuk. It took a lot of discussions and tears to come to this conclusion. We would love to meet potential adopters and learn more about your home to determine if it would be best for Chuk’s needs. We are asking for a $100 re-homing fee, and we will also give you all of his “possessions” (bowls, leashes, bed, etc).
Chuk is in Raleigh, NC.
