Casey is a 7 year old, 55 lb. spayed female in Simpsonville, SC.

We got Casey in an accidental farm litter in Indiana in Fall of 2017 as a puppy, our 2nd blue heeler. She’s very smart, loyal, loving, potty trained/ house broken, loves playing fetch, great recall, knows sit, stay, shake, spin, and “where’s your (toy/ball/frisbee)” and she’ll find a toy of some kind. She’s a couch potato inside and active outside! She was raised with another dog and an older cat, she’s great around small livestock like ND goats. She’s protective but also really friendly. She can be barky at unknown sounds. She has a hard time seeing far away. She has hypothyroidism, and takes meds. She was recently put on Prozac to help with long time anxiety diagnosis. Running helps her anxiety.

Casey has never shown any form of aggression toward people or animals until recently when she bit (and broke skin) on our other blue heeler (older). She bit him on his face and left 2 puncture wounds. They were at the boarder (been there tons of times before) and they didn’t see it happen. Then, she attacked him again, unprovoked, no food or toys near, just lunge and dog fight style attacked him. Biting and shaking her head. It scared me, and we have a baby in the house. We put her on Prozac (knowing it might make her feel less anxious but does not prevent future dog fights).
