Betsy is a 1 year old, 38 lb. spayed female in Montague, MA.

Meet Betsy! She's just barely a year old, spayed, dewormed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She came to me after a family member gave up on working with her, and she has been my entire heart for the past months we've been together. I had hoped to never consider rehoming her, but my disabled cat is not adjusting to her the way I had hoped.

Betsy will do best in a home without kids. She loves dogs, and gets along well with other animals. We've introduced her to chickens, horses, barn cats, etc, with no issues. When she first came to me, she was reactive to men, and although she is still nervous about them, she does well with a slow and responsible introduction to new men. She is slow to warm up to new people (took her weeks to let me touch her) but once she knows you, you have a friend for life.

She is progressing quickly in obedience training, walks like a dream on a leash, and has great recall for off leash work. Crate training is a work in progress, as I think her former owner didn't handle it responsibly, and set her back. Loves to play fetch, tug, and herds balls off leash. She picks up new skills so quickly!

She is mouthy, like any other cattle dog, and high energy. Betsy is a chronic nipper, and never lets a hand or leg go to waste. she has never bitten hard enough to brake skin or cause lasting injury.

She wants a job, or a home that will keep her busy all day. It's extremely important to me that she finds a home with someone who has the patience to see what an amazing friend she is.

Comes with her crate, toys, and remaining food if you want or need the supplies.

REHOMING FEE OF $200, NEGOTIABLE BASED ON HOW NEAR/FAR I AM DELIVERING HER TO YOU.
