Aspen has all her recommended vaccines (rabies, DA2PPV, Bordetella, & Leptospirosis). She received a full medical checkup on Feb. 9, 2026, and is in good health. She is a highly intelligent dog that is trained and housebroken, follows instructions, and does a wide variety of tricks on command. She is very dedicated to her owners and shy with strangers.

 

Aspen is energetic and likes to go out on walks. She has a hearty constitution and tolerates cold weather and rain well. She loves food and her diet must be managed so that she doesn't overeat. She lives with 2 cats and gets along with them. She is normally indifferent to unknown dogs but can get agitated with any dogs that bark or growl at her. She does adapt to other dogs with whom she must coexist and will probably do best with adult humans!

 

Aspen is being re-homed because the owner has become handicapped and cannot walk without discomfort. We live in a second-floor condo and must go up and down a flight of stairs at least five times a day for our walks. My condition will likely worsen, and the consequences will prevent me from caring adequately for poor Aspen.

 

It would be great if her new home had a yard where she could spend a lot of time since she loves being outdoors to explore, smell and relax. In addition, this eliminates the need for five walks a day!
