Angel is an 8 month old, 21 lb. cattle dog/poodle mix in Hollidaysburg, PA.

Angel has some very cool coloring for which we get compliments all the time! She also loves to be held and cuddled. She certainly has a lapdog personality but will sit and stay on the floor when told to do so.

Angel is an Australian Blue Heeler - Poodle mix. She currently weighs 21 lbs. and is projected to not get much bigger according to our veterinarian, which is much smaller than we had anticipated when we purchased her. We get large wild animals like black bear walking through our property so we are afraid she is too small for this environment. Her mother is 1/2 Blue Heeler and 1/2 Poodle. He father is all Blue Heeler.

She is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, has been trained to stay in our unfenced yard on large acreage, is chipped for identification if lost, and accustomed to living with another dog (Australian Shepherd-Collie mix). She would also likely do well in a home where she is the only dog. If you live near a busy road, a fence is a must while she is still so small. We have experience with our Australian Shepherd-mixed dogs roaming free on our property without leash or fence, but this requires a lot of training. If you don't have that kind of time, a fence to roam and leash to walk is best.

Angel can handle small children for a short period of time and was very sweet to young babies who paid us a visit. We are a family with children ages ranging from 4 to 9 years-old who are very high energy. We feel that Angel would be happier in a family with older children or no children. She has snapped at everyone in the house at some point, drawing a little bit of blood. With training the snapping has resolved except for when the kids get into her face even when we, their parents, urge them to give her some space.

Our kids don't want to give her up! But, we want to find her a calmer home and do so soon since she is still young and is a breed that will bond closely with her owner(s). YOU could be that someone! We can provide transportation depending on the distance. She has ridden in the car for 3-hour drives so far without any issues. Happy to answer any additional questions you may have...we want to find her a good home!

Angel is in Hollidaysburg, PA.
