Liz has worked with thousands of dogs of many different breeds, ages, and temperaments. For more than 10 years she owned a thriving dog training/dog walking business in the Washington DC area. She's worked in the behavior/training departments of several large private and public animal shelters, and as a consultant, contributing writer, and seminar speaker for Petfinder.com and the Humane Society of the United States.  Liz lives with her three best friends: Steve and their two dogs, Forrest the cattledog and Dakota the Lab (and at any given time, a fostered rescue dog). She's an active volunteer with ACDRA and Our Companions. Liz also co-founded Mission Dog, which offers hands-on training, DVDs and books to rescue groups, shelters, daycares and other boarding facilities.
