LOL She of course loves long walks and we take her to Lake Erie once in a while... too many dead fish and other things to smell and roll on - arghghgh.

Her favorite past time is nesting. We will be watching TV and wonder where she is - so we get up and there she is curled up on the bed waiting for us! She sleeps right between us at nighttime and even wants a pillow - not to rest her head on but to bury her nose under :-)

The best part is, get ready for this, I have my very own little boy to play with. Jacob is great. I’m still training him, but he’s coming along quite well. One of his favorite games is chase. I LOVE CHASE! He waits for me when he goes up on his slide so that we can slide down together too.

We also play this game where he gets on his rope swing and I pull him. I love to cuddle with him and my new Mom at night time to hear the stories they read.

My new Family also includes a cat named Lady. Lady doesn’t really like me very much. I try not to chase her, but she keeps running away from me. How else am I supposed to get close enough to give her kisses? Lady is coming around slowly and I think that she and I will become real friends.

My Mom and Dad take me for car rides all the time. One of my favorite places is the dump. There are SO many smells to smell. But, we also go all over. They just took me on a very long car ride to someone’s house to visit. I was a little nervous, because let’s face it. Every time they put us rescue dogs in a car for a long ride, we usually don’t come back. But, they brought me back! I was so excited. That’s when I knew for sure that this was my forever home.

We all like to play ball together outside (I’m trying to teach them this game, but they don’t seem to be getting the hang of it very well). I try to show them that after you throw the ball, that your supposed to go get it and run around with the ball and bounce it in the air and roll it up and down the hill. They just throw it and stand there. I will have to keep trying with that game. Even if they never get it, well, that’s ok, since they don’t seem to yell when I roll in the mud or go jump in the beaver pond to play. They even bought me my very own pool to use during the day. They are pretty cool If I do say so myself.

I don’t really like it too much when they go off to someplace called “work and school”, but, they are really glad to see me when they get home and give me lots of hugs and kisses, so I guess they miss me too. Well, it’s almost time to eat. I better go. I hope you liked hearing about my new home as much as I like telling you.
