Please help us rescue ACDs in need
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization. Donations help us rescue ACDs from shelters where they are facing euthanasia, transport them to foster homes, care for their medical needs and more.

Can you help with a little gas money?

Considering the price of gas these days, we like to offer some help to the people who volunteer to transport our fosters from shelters to their foster homes. If you can help fund a gallon or two of gas, click the button below to make a donation using PayPal.

I wanted to give you an update on Tilly. She is doing very well and probably far more spoiled than she should be!

How can you resist when you see that cute little face!  I attached a picture of her as one of her christmas presents came today (don't tll her it's not Christmas yet LOL).  She didn't know what to do when she saw all those tennis balls - they went flying everywhere!  SHE NOW HAS ONE TO PLAY WITH AT A TIME :-)

She also loves to "play" with the cat - the cat thinks of it more as fending for her life but Tilly is very gentle with her.  Our neighor out back just got a terrier (?) it looks like a mini airedale and her name is Pixie.  Tilly and Pixie love to talk and run up and down the fence together.  We walked them togther last week but Tilly could have cared less as she has many other things to smell while on her walk. LOL  She of course loves long walks and we take her to Lake Erie once in a while... too many dead fish and other things to smell and roll on - arghghgh.

Her favorite past time is nesting.  We will be watching TV and wonder where she is - so we get up and there she is curled up on the bed waiting for us!  She sleeps right between us at nighttime and even wants a pillow - not to rest her head on but to bury her nose under :-)

She is truly a joy and we are so thankful everyday she is in our lives!!!

Thanks so much!  Franne and Michael
